Welcome – this is the Accessibility Statement of LiiKe – Sports & Development
This accessibility statement applies to the service www.liike.fi and was prepared on 2nd January 2024. The service is subject to the Act on the Provision of Digital Services, which requires that public online services must be accessible.
We have assessed the accessibility of the service ourselves
Accessibility status of the digital service
Partially meets the accessibility requirements.
Non-accessible content
Disproportionate burden
The document about LiiKe’s beneficiaries, Vumilia and Najma, found at the bottom of the “Our Story” section under the “About Us” menu, is not accessible to screen readers due to the subtitles being hard-coded into the video rather than created using YouTube’s subtitle tool.
The PDF document outlining LiiKe’s strategy does not recognize headings for screen readers
LiiKe’s website was renewed in January 2024. Some of the older news articles imported from the previous website do not include alternative text for images, making them inaccessible to screen readers.
As a small organization, our resources are limited. The mentioned functions are currently not accessible due to the temporary application of the exception referred to in Article 5 of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, on the grounds of disproportionate burden.
Did you notice an accessibility issue on our digital service? Please let us know – we will do our best to correct it.
